Low GPU Usage

I fixed the issue by increasing the resolution scale to 130% and I tested if the GPU usage changed, than again I put it 100% as default

I have the same problem, here a fix that works for me.

Enable Frame Gen (for nvidia cards).

I have an 13600k and a 5070ti.

The 13600k sits at 50% usage and my GPU is still not getting used.
If your cpu is at 95%+ usage, then it could be a CPU bottleneck that you are experiencing.

My frame without frame gen are 100-120fps on high setting, while gpu is used 50-60% and cpu 50%.

With frame gen (x2), my gpu is used 98% and my fps are 260-280. CPU is still sitting at 50%.

Frame gen x2 just renders one AI Frame for every normal frame, so in theory, my FPS should only roughly be doubled. For me, its more than that. So my frames without frame gen should be 140+.

I guess its a bug, that for some users the gpu is not ultilized right without FG.

FYI: FG doesnt seem to increase input lag much. Im really sensitive to things like and i did not notice any more input lag than when im not using FG ingame.

That's very slow and is causing the low framerate.

The CPU is most likely thermal throttling and lowering it's frequency to reduce CPU temperature.

You can verify this by downloading HWiNFO and monitoring the CPU temperature.

If the CPU temperature is higher than 80°C it's probably thermal throttling. It will definitely thermal throttle around 90°C.

For a desktop I would recommend upgrading the CPU cooler. For a laptop all you can do is turn the CPU fan speed up to 100%.

Sounds like your GPU is thermal throttling and cutting energy use, you should really look at your temps while playing not just usage

nahh you understood incorrect, There is no bottleneck on low mid high ultra overkill settings what i am saying is . Even on ultra 1440p the game runs perfectly for around 10 minutes out of nowhere the GPU WATTAGE drops ALMOST 100 WATTAGE then the performance tanks to 50 40 fps from 100fps

You’re all talking about lowering settings to increase your GPU usage, that’s not how this works, lowering your settings is putting more strain on your CPU not your GPU, if you want your GPU to work harder you should be increasing your settings. You should all really learn about the difference between CPU and GPU bottlenecks 

there is no known fix at this moment i think. i think we just wait for the fixes from the dice or from nvidia driver update i think
