Memory Leaking is Abysmal

The game is suffering from a major memory leak issue, making the game unplayable after about 10 minutes - I am using recommended Nvidia settings with all drivers updated and every other game I play except this one running smoothly. When I boot up the game, the in-game calculator states that I am using 7GB of VRAM (my card can manage 12GB, so well within acceptable range) however after playing for just 5-10 minutes, this balloons to 13-14GB of VRAM, leaving the game choppy, laggy, and eventually unplayable. I cannot play the game I paid for until this issue is fixed - having trawled the forums I can't find any fix for this yet. Are we just going to have to wait until they patch it, and if so, how long do we need to wait? It's unacceptable to pay £90 for a game that doesn't function 2 weeks after launch - by the time it's fixed, I might even have been able to pick it up on sale. Are we going to get some kind of in-game compensation?
