Yep happens on PS5 as well when you go down in a small game mode and hold-press the touchpad to edit loadout. The option to edit loadout technically shouldn’t be there because you can still be revived and now you have a completely different class.
That said, I figured out how to get out of that “frozen” state (after quitting so many games before). Since the glitch is caused by HOLDING the ‘edit loadout’ button, I get out of it by TAPPING the same button (whatever input that usually allows you to close the ‘edit loadout’ pane).
Try to edit your loadout as you spawn in before you move too far, then see what button you’re meant to press to close the window once you’re done editing- that’s the one that’ll get you out of dodgeball prison.
