There is a specific "Weapon FOV" setting in the options menu that let's you choose between narrow and wide.

I'm definitely talking about something else. Here are my screenshots with different FOV weapon settings and a screenshot from someone else's video with the same weapon and soldier skin. I'm sure the difference is pretty easy to spot.
