Panning with mouse is jittery - controllers are smooth.

How to replicate: get close to a post (or anything vertical), 3m or so. Move around the post in circles, tracking it and keeping it in the center of your screen. The post and the whole screen jitters if you're using a mouse. It doesn't jitter with a controller. No FPS drops, frametimes look fine.

By reading this, maybe you don't get the severity of the situation: ALL mouse movement is affected by this. The game ALWAYS feels choppy with mice, like it's running at very low/inconsistent FPS - but it's not a rendering problem, FPS and frametimes are unnaffected.

Nothing fixes it. Frametimes are as smooth as they can be, always. Changing poling rates won't help, tried them all from 125Hz - 8000Hz (the lower, the worse). Also tried fiddling with raw input, capping FPS with RivaTuner, Fullscreen or Borderless... This needs addressing ASAP.

Worth mentioning: this is unrelated to the other bug (already fixed) related to screen freezes after pressing keys (S, 2, 3, etc.). Those freezes too didn't show up in frametimes.

This shouldn't be a problem for a AAA FPS in 2026, for THE Battlefield franchise. High FPS (180+), smooth frametimes, VRR enabled, and yet, the experience is AWFUL. This is happening since the open beta, and the BF studios / EA are DEAD SILENT about this.

My system:

7800x3D
RTX 5070Ti
NVMe SSD
32GB 5600MHz
Windows 11 25H2.

Easy to replicate, tons of reports around. I hope this doesn't come to be "just another report".
