Thanks for providing the crash dump, and I’m sorry to hear about the freezing issue.
I’ve also noticed similar reports on Steam, but since PC specs, settings, and installed software can vary so much from system to system, these cases can be difficult to compare directly.
I’ve passed your crash dump along to the team, and we’re also gathering additional reports to support them in taking a look.
If you’re able to find a crash dump, we’d appreciate it if you could share it with us.
- Files from C:\Users\[your name]\Documents\Battlefield 6\CrashDumps
We’ve also made the studio aware that a number of players don’t appear to have any crash dump generated.
bltzmann & GTS - Orion (on Steam) have shared workarounds that worked for them. Although other players have unfortunately reported that these did not work in their cases, until we have any further updates, they may still be worth a try if you’re willing, in the hope of helping more players get back to the Battlefield.
1. Bought game from Epic playing from EA App. For Steam gamers check your installation folder.
- For me game directory "D:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 6"
- There are bf6.exe and EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe in game folder.
- I have set both of them "Run As Administrator" via Right Click/Compatibility menu and
- finally completed a 28 min. conquest match without computer freezing.
2. Updated the BIOS from AGESA 1.2.7.1 to AGESA 1.3.0.0a (9850X3D - RTX4080 - FURY Beast RGB 2 x 16 Go 6000Mt CL30 - MB Asrock X870 -Mouse Logitech)
Please be careful when making changes in the BIOS, as incorrect changes could potentially break your PC.

I had the same issue and I run on a high end PC (rtx5090+64gb of ram...)
The game crashes my PC to a hard start after 10 minutes of game play. I didn’t have this issue before April 15th.
I did run a full diagnosis of my pc and nothing was out of the ordinary. I even played other games that are cpu intensive for few hours and everything ran fine. I went back to bf6 and the game crashed again. I’m pretty sure the problem is with the latest patch update.- efanchen1 month agoNew Novice
exactly the same here. AMD Ryzen 7950x3D, 64GB RAM, Geforce 5090, 1000W seasonic plat PSU. Everything worked fine and then I started the game on 16 Apr and got a crash. My crash ist sometimes after 15 min, sometimes after 30. But always hard crash and reboot.
My PC works fine otherwise and has no issues with a 3 hour 100% full load test (prime, furmark)
I reinstalled javelin, redownloaded BF6 (steam) and updated Windows and Nvidia driver to the latest version. I also set my GPU to 69% power target (400W) to be absolutly sure it wasn't a transient spike.
I really hope this get fixed very soon.

I reinstalled the whole game but it doesn't work. Same issues as before. After some time the pc freezes when I'm running the game. Other games I'm playing are not infected so it can't be an issue of my pc. As written it installed the new patch yesterday on 16.4.2026. After that all freezing.
Never had any issue since BF launch on my systems. I also tried the game on my notebook with RTX 4060 and its the same. Also freezing. Was also runing before the patch well.
I also got a high end PC with RXT4090, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 32GB ram... .
Please fix it quick and leave a message her when it's done or you got more informations about that issue. Thanks!

Hard Crash roughly 10mins in. Have to use the reset button or hard power the computer. No dump files from these events.
9950X, 5070ti, 64G DDR5 Asus ROG Strix motherboard, no overclock on CPU, just basic RAM EXPO 2x sticks dual channel.
Is there an expected revert/fix for AMD users so we can play?
Timed events are annoying when the game is broken. - NahilDzz1 month agoSeasoned Rookie
This solution is not really working , you really ask to people make a full Bios update cause your last update is broken ?
This is overkill and didn't work for all , only few players got a benefit from that Bios update ...
This is not so easy , and when you recommand that to everyone , you have to know that a lot of players will broke their PC by testing that solution cause they have not the competence to simply do that proprely ....
EA have to work and their last update , cause every players complaining now , was playing with any problems before that **bleep** update ...
This is irresponsible to advise that "solution"

Same for the last few days, I'm getting hard freezes during gameplay that force a hard reset.
Even staying in the main menu causes a freeze after a while.
It seems like a Javelin anti-cheat issue, because single-player works perfectly with no crashes.
Nothing on the windows events.
No crushdump.9850x3d

Update Guys;
As I have suspected javelin anti cheat, I have installed bf1 and joined a multiplayer game.
After 20 minutes. Hard freeze.
Proven. The reason is javelin anti cheat. - 1I-FX-I11 month agoSeasoned Novice

Appreciate that it fixed it for you, but I'm not going to downgrade my BIOS for this. Guess I'll just find something else to do with my leisure time the next few days.

I'd love to test this, but sadly my motherboard wasn't manufactured/sold last year.

Excuse my ignorance, but every time I updated the motherboard BIOS, it said I couldn't revert to the previous version. How did you manage to revert to the version from a year ago? Also, would that compromise the PC's security? Anyway, I'm not going to do that; I prefer to wait!

Hello, this is my latest crash report file and DX diagnostic report from May 16th.
I asked the AI and found out if it was caused by a conflict between EAAC and certain hardware lighting control software? After all, the lighting control system also has high authority within the system. My computer is equipped with ASUS Ultron Center and Colorful iGame Center.
Anyway, this may be a way of thinking, perhaps identifying certain third-party software as cheating programs? Perhaps they should be included in the whitelist.
I have also installed the latest patch for Windows update (KB5089549), but the game still freezes and crashes after running for about 10 minutes, which is obviously not working for my computer.
I am currently downloading and installing the game again, and uninstalling the Colorful iGame Center.
my PC configuration sheet:
i7-14700kf
Colorful RTX 4070ti 12G (graphics card driver version: 596.21)
Kingston 64GB (32x2) 4800MHz DDR5
The disk used for game installation is Samsung's 990Pro SSD
Win11 25H2
(I used translation software, please forgive me if there are any grammar errors)

I also was crashing after installing the new windows update that was supposed to help fix this. I used WinDbg to upload my crash file from the documents folder inside BF6 crash dump. AI suggests a lot of crap but suggested to turn off DLSS and use TAA instead as well as turn of reflex/boost off. So far seems to be okay but I dont know for sure. Worth testing yourself? It's def EA anti-cheat fault not ours.

haha, I saw the same answer from you in the Steam discussion forum. You're right, this type of kernel level conflict and incompatibility is caused by EAAC constantly attacking certain drivers or program processes.
