Hello, I've been struggling with this problem for six months now. It manifests itself strangely: you can play for a couple hours and everything will be fine, but then it crashes the 6th or 7th game because of it. It freezes so completely that I have to reboot the computer with the button. Sometimes resetting the secure boot keys helps, but not always. What's interesting is that before the freeze, the FPS can drop from 120 to 50-40 for a few seconds, followed by the game crashing. During the freeze, the Windows log shows an error message saying "You need to update your secure boot keys/CA," but updating them doesn't solve the problem. Also, if I wait a few seconds during a freeze, I get a BSOD with the stop code "DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION."
OC: Windows 10 22H2
MB: Gigabyte X870E elite wifi 7
Processor: Ryzen 9800X3D (No overclocking)
Graphic Card: RTX 5090 (Undervolted, Driver 591.86)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 2x32 6000MHz
The game is installed on an SSD, which passes all integrity checks.
P.S. Undervolting the video card didn't affect this issue; I tested it with the stock card and it didn't help. Moreover, these issues don't occur in more demanding games like CB2077, Wukong, RE9, etc.
Same issue here. 9800x3d 5070ti.
No overclock/undervolting (aside from expo)
Tried DLSS on/off/different presets, stock nvidia settings (after DDU wipe/reset) etc. nothing does it.
No crashdump file being generated with issue

Hi there. Thanks for the DxDiag. Here are some suggestions:
- Use DDU in Safe Mode to remove your current Nvidia driver and use an older one instead
- As a test, try disconnecting your second monitor. Only run the 144 Hz primary display
- Disable Hardware Accelerated GUP Scheduling. This can be done at Windows Settings > System > Display > Graphics > Default graphics settings
- Temporarily remove Razer Synapse, Try testing with the Tartaraus unplugged so that only the basic mouse and keyboard are attached
- Disable any overlays. EA App, Nvidia/ShadowPlay, Discord, Steam, etc.
Let me know what happens.- ATTACKslip2 days agoRising Traveler
Why would we do any of this for something that is clearly caused by an update done by the developers? THEY simply need to fix or revert whatever was pushed that caused this.
