Performance Issue
I am having severe FPS and stuttering issues in Battlefield 6 on PC.
My specs:
RTX 3060
Intel Core i7-11700KF
B560M AORUS ELITE
1440p monitor
Windows 11
Symptoms:
Around 70 FPS while idle in menus.
Around 60 FPS during light gameplay.
FPS drops to 30-50 during combat, explosions, and heavy action.
Frequent stutters and lag spikes.
Lowering graphics settings barely changes performance.
Current graphics settings:
DLSS Quality (I tried balanced, performance, and ultra performance, the results were the same)
Almost everything on Low
Texture Quality: High
Texture Filtering: High
GTAO Low
Reflections Low
Shadow Filtering: PCF
Sharpness: 50%
Troubleshooting already attempted:
Clean GPU driver reinstall using DDU
Cleared Battlefield shader cache
Cleared Windows DirectX shader cache (D3DSCache)
Restarted PC and rebuilt shaders
Tested different graphics settings
Tested Future Frame Rendering
Tested NVIDIA Reflex settings
Tested Mesh Quality, Effects, Terrain Undergrowth, and other graphics settings
Temperatures are now normal and no longer overheating
CPU temperatures are around 68-85°C under load
GPU temperatures are normal
FPS issue remained unchanged after these tests
The issue feels abnormal because changing settings has very little effect on performance. Could you please help determine whether this is a game bug, configuration issue, driver interaction issue, or something else?
