Persistent Packet Loss in BF6 – Stable FPS, Feels Like Slow Motion
My two friends are experiencing constant packet loss in BF6 even though their FPS stays above 60 at all times (both CPU FPS and GPU FPS). The game feels like it’s running in slow motion, with noticeable input delay, delayed hit registration, and inconsistent player movement during matches.
They’ve already run multiple connection tests and the issue does not appear to be related to internet quality. Speed tests are normal, ping is stable, there’s no relevant jitter, and there’s no packet loss outside the game. They tested with and without VPN, on Wi-Fi 5GHz and wired connections, and all drivers are up to date. No other online game shows this behavior.
We also tried lowering and modifying various graphics settings, but nothing helped. FPS remains stable regardless of the settings, yet the packet loss continues consistently.
One system is an i7-9750H with a GTX 1660 Ti, 16GB DDR4, M.2 SSD, 600Mbps internet over 5GHz Wi-Fi at 1080p. The other is a Ryzen 5 2600 with an RX 6600 XT, 24GB RAM (3x8GB 2400MHz), ASUS PRIME B450M-GAMING/BR motherboard, 1TB NVMe, and 1Gbps wired internet.
In both cases hardware usage looks normal, FPS is stable, and the problem happens continuously. I found a YouTube video that demonstrates almost exactly what they are experiencing, and I’ll attach it for reference.

This seems more like a server, netcode, routing, or desync issue rather than a client performance or connection problem. Is anyone else experiencing persistent packet loss in BF6 despite having a stable connection?
