Port forwarding insanity…

Hi Gamers, EA, friends, Dev Titans. I have spent the last week trying to find out what ports need forwarded, I think UPnP is too dangerous and would feel much more comfortable manually forwarding the proper ports. Preferably from official source. The trouble is that below is the insane list of unofficial sources all claiming to be the right ports. Can someone please clarify. I really really don’t want to enable UPnP. So depending on where you look, this is what is currently being claimed…

Typical TCP (reported)
• 80, 443 (HTTP / HTTPS — often required). 
• 5222, 9988, 17502, 20000–20100, 22990, 42127 (reported in community lists). 
• Steam-related ports sometimes suggested: 27015, 27036 (if you run via Steam). 

Typical UDP (reported)
• 3659, 14000–14016 (voice / game traffic ranges carried over from prior Battlefield titles). 
• 22990–23006, 25200–25300, 20000–20100 (large UDP ranges seen in community lists). 
• Additional single UDP ports reported by some guides: 18000, 23000–24000, 27000–27036 (varies by guide). 

This is why an official word on the matter would be so helpful. I really don’t want to enable UPnP unless that is my absolute last resort. Help? Please?
