Unfortunately, it's simply unplayable

I read disabling SMT in motherboard BIOS helps the performance of Ryzen 9 CPUs. I don't know if it's true or not.
I'm assuming everyone has RAM in dual channel mode with EXPO/XMP enabled? You can verify with HWiNFO System Summery.
Another thing to try is leave SMT enabled and then disable all the CPU cores on one of the CCD dies in motherboard BIOS. Preferably the non-3D CCD die.

Hmm. Maybe its worth a try but it is Safe for my system to Change this?
I need the Power of my CPU for other Things too, Like Video Rendering and Musicproduction.
I dont wanna mess Up my BIOS or my system. Honestly this is Out of my knowledge and i get sweaty Fingers about it😂.
Is there any article or Tutorial that i can ready or watch about it first?
Should we contact EA and inform them in Support cases about this? I mean, we have plenty of information and it seems to affect many Others.
I cant imangine EA doesnt already know that.

PE4CEMVKER here's a YouTube video about how BF6 doesn't properly park all the CPU cores on one of the CCD dies for Ryzen 9 processors.
If you don't want to go into BIOS. At the end of the video Jay talks about downloading Ryzen Master app and enabling game mode.

Okay, this video has me absolutely intrigued. I spent some time configuring my PC and testing the game, and I'm ready to share my observations with you all. All testing was done after the 'REDSEC' update release.
To summarize: neither the game update nor the BIOS settings have truly fixed the problem, once again. But. This method does provide a small FPS boost to the game.
With SMT enabled and CCD1 active, my system now displays 8 cores and 16 threads in Task Manager. The FPS now ranges from 90 to 110, with drops down to 80 FPS (previously, without these tweaks, it was 70–100 FPS with drops to 50 FPS).
Changing the graphics quality still has no effect on performance. Toggling DLSS on or off also doesn't add frames, but it does add input lag. I've attached two screenshots below, one with DLSS off and one with it on. You can see that DLSS affects GPU frames (193 with DLSS off and 240 with DLSS on), but the CPU frame rate is still stuck around 80 FPS. The display of processor cores and threads in the game is still incorrect: 16 cores and 14 threads (previously, without settings, there were 32 cores and 28 threads).
That's it, everyone. I am officially giving up the fight on my end. I hope one of the EA developers sees this.

Honestly, I'm exhausted from constantly tinkering with this. I tried to request a refund for the game, but Steam denied me twice, citing my 20 hours of playtime, which was simply me endlessly messing with the game and system settings trying to fix this exact issue.
Like PE4CEMVKER, I also use my PC for Video Rendering and Music Production, and I really don't want to go into the BIOS again and change things. I've already reverted to my original settings because they are perfect for my primary use cases. LOL, I happily played through Borderlands 4, which is known for its poor optimization, without these kinds of problems!
I want an official statement from the developers on this matter or a concrete, proven guide on how to actually fix this issue. I'm tired of following every random piece of advice I find, which ultimately leads nowhere.
In any case, thank you very much OskooI_007 for the advice given in this thread. Maybe in the future, I will come back and try to fix it using your advice, but for now I'm tired and looking forward to the release of ARK Riders, where my PC performed exceptionally well, giving me a stable 120 FPS without DLSS or Frame Generation.
Huge thanks to the person who created this thread and brought us together; I really hope the developers notice us and provide an official comment. I will continue to follow this topic.- PE4CEMVKER25 days agoRising Novice
