PS5 completely crashing while playing BF6

Interesting,  yesterday I had a error twice while playing the game, didn't happen on Beta,  my party they all on PC and am on thr Ps5 pro, is all updated and I only got the console like a month ago when I pre ordered the game which by the way I haven't got any skins, xp bonus related to my preorder. 

Suddenly just got the error and I had to re start the game weird. 

Same error as mine or a different one? My console is completely crashing only with BF6, need to unplug the power and re connect in order for it to work again 

I have sort of the same issue. It won’t put me in a server. I haven’t been able to play a single multiplayer match on my PS5. I get no error codes however. It queues me for 5-10 seconds then takes me to a black screen that says battlefield then kicks me back to the BF6 Home Screen. I have deleted and reinstalled. I have no issues with any of my other games.

i have the same thing exactly but on PC could be 2 mins of game play or could be 40mins of game play. ive clocked 5 hours today and had 12 crashes. all of a sudden, all temps and frames in the green then i get an error message along the lines of DXGI ERROR DEVICE HUNG

It seems to have worked so far. I did several things. 

1 - I did an extra in-depth cleaning of my PlayStation. 2 - Deleted the game and redownloaded it. 3 - I moved the game from my extended internal hard drive to my console hard drive. 4 - Restored licenses. 5 - deleted a few games I don't play anymore.

Not sure if this will/which one helped, but it seems to have resolved my issue so far. If it happens again, I will report back. If I don't respond, then it worked for me. Good luck, mate. 

If this is 100% overheating then how do you explain the following;

● Not one other game on the same console crashes to dashboard or shuts down the console like this?.

● There was a huge thread with 17k views when i last left it with the same people experiencing these crashes. People who had even bought brand new out the box consoles to play the beta on. The problem is across Xbox, PS5 and PC. The match hangs for a few seconds with everything on the screen not moving then based on my Xbox Series X will go back to dashboard or will power the console down on rare occasions. 

● During the beta i couldnt complete a single match, i crashed after about 5-7 minutes EVERY SINGLE GAME without fail, as did many others during the Beta. Yesterday i completed my first ever 3 matches before a dashboard crash. 

● People have cleaned the console, replaced thermal paste and even purchased brand new ones so how this can be linked to overheating is beyond me. 

● 2042 was absolutely fine for me aswell i might add, although ive heard of similar crashes for some people on that too. 

There is an issue here that is not just overheating. 

I have the same problem yesterday and today. There are no problems with other games. So it's 100% BF6, it's never happened to me before, as far as I can remember. And the last PS5 update froze everything. I updated everything, it only happens with BF6. I don't have a solution, just so you know you're not the only one who has this happen to. ✌☺️ 

Maybe try restoring the licences? 

I am on PC and mine just restarts. Doesn't do it with campaign or firing range. Only when playing online 

This is not overheating. it happened to my PS5 as well and IF the system does overheat it will give you a warning acknowledging that the system shut down to prevent further damage. That is not happening in these cases. The community would appreciate EA taking accountability rather than shifting the blame as this is a wide spread issue specifically only happening while playing this game.
