PS5 Mouse & Keyboard stuttering and low FPS since Season 4 Anticheat update
Hi EA / DICE team,
I strongly suspect the new Season 4 Anticheat Update is causing these massive input bottlenecks for high-end mouse and keyboard users on console.
I am writing this because I am deeply frustrated. I bought Battlefield to play with a mouse and keyboard on my PS5, which used to work perfectly. However, ever since the updates around Season 4, the game has become completely unplayable due to massive performance issues.
Whenever I connect a gaming keyboard and mouse, I get constant framedrops down to 15-25 FPS and extreme micro-stutters. The in-game performance indicators turn white/red. I have already performance-tested my hardware: I customized my Razer Huntsman V3 TKL keyboard and lowered my mouse polling rate to 500Hz/125Hz, turned off HDR and RGB, but the engine still chokes on the input data. When I play with a controller, the FPS is completely stable. This proves it is a bug in the game's input pipeline on console.
I paid a lot of money for this game and my hardware, and I just want to be able to play again! Please look into the USB polling/input optimization for consoles in the upcoming patches. Thank you.
