PS5DRS Bug Workaround Not Working - Still Locked at 60 FPS in Performance Mode
I'm experiencing the DRS (Dynamic Resolution Scaling) bug mentioned in the official Known Issues post, but the suggested workaround is NOT working for me.
- Console: PlayStation 5 (BASE model, NOT Pro)
- TV: Samsung QN43QN90CAGXZD (QN90C 2023)
- Cable: HDMI 2.1 certified (supports 4K 120Hz)
- HDMI Port: Tested on Port 1, 3, and 4 (all HDMI 2.1)
- Firmware: TV is fully updated

The game is STUCK at 60 FPS and never goes above it, even though:
- My TV confirms it's receiving 90 FPS from the PS5
- The PS5 is sending a 120Hz signal
- Performance Mode is selected in-game

🔧 WORKAROUND ATTEMPTED (FROM OFFICIAL POST):
I followed the official workaround exactly as described:
1. ✅ Joined a match
2. ✅ Paused the game (Options button)
3. ✅ Went to Settings → Graphics
4. ✅ Changed Performance Mode to Balanced
5. ✅ Changed back to Performance Mode immediately
6. ✅ Resumed gameplay
RESULT: ❌ NO CHANGE - Still locked at 60 FPS
I repeated this process:
- Multiple times in the same match
- In different matches
- After returning from main menu
- In different game modes
RESULT: ❌ STILL locked at 60 FPS

📊 EXPECTED vs ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:
EXPECTED (based on official specs):
- PS5 Base Performance Mode: 80-90 FPS average
- Variable framerate with VRR
ACTUAL:
- Locked at 60 FPS
- No variation whatsoever
- Workaround has ZERO effect

1. Is the DRS bug MORE SEVERE on some PS5 consoles than others?
2. Is there an ADDITIONAL bug preventing Performance Mode from working at all on certain setups?

Please investigate why the official workaround is not working for some players. This issue is severely impacting gameplay experience, especially since VRR and 120Hz are fully functional on my setup but the game refuses to use them.
I've verified EVERY possible setting on both the PS5 and TV side. The problem is 100% on the game's end.
