I just got it working smooth on my system, GSYNC is BROKEN.
My Specs:
- 12900k
- 5090 MSI Gaming Trio
- MSI OLED 4k 240hz via HDMI 2.1
- MSI z690 DDR4 CL14 32GB
- 1200 Seasonic PSU
- Liquid Cooling
- Win11 24H2
- 577.00 (Currently) Tried 581.* as well with same result
I dare you to try and get 120hz in BF6 working with GSYNC enabled. No matter what I did, IE VSYNC forced on in NVCP ....both on or off ingame with the game RefRate set to 119.998, if GSYNC was on in NVCP and game set to 120hz + NVCP VSync ON, the game still outputs > 180FPS at launch. Console command enabling the Display overlay ingame indeed says game is set to 120hz with the right Vsync reading, but it aint working.
Right now, this as far as I have got, I will test back at 240hz later with GSync off,
but right now, on my system with
- NVCP GSYNC = DISABLED/FIXED FRAMERATE
- NVCP VSYNC = ON
- NVCP MAX REFRATE = Let Application decide
- INGAME REFRATE = 120hz
- INGAME CAP = OFF
- INGAME REFLEX = OFF
- INGAME VSYNC = OFF
- INGAME UPSCALING = OFF
- INGAME FRAMEGEN = OFF
- Visuals = ALL HIGH or BETTER
it WORKS LIKE BUTTER....Hasn't ran like this since launch
You can clearly tell its broken and it causes the weird texture jitter/crawling when panning the mouse....Give it a try and see if it works for you other 240hz OLED owners out there....hell maybe any GSYNC owners right now.
This ONE HUNDRED PERCENT made the difference, it was night and DAY bro. Got a M7 and solo swung a game i came in to late to a victory down nearly 400 tickets because i could finally play the game. Absolute LEGEND!
My guess is that the games refresh rate is a constant cycle of 60/120, and any frame refresh rate to that syncs up.
