Random account ban after using lossless scaling

I suddenly got banned after just a few hours of playing Battlefield 6.
I was only using Lossless Scaling (for frame generation), and after restarting the game, I received a message that my account was deactivated due to violating the EA User Agreement.

However, my “Ban History” section says “No bans”.
Has anyone else experienced a random or false ban like this?
What should I do next?

  • Hi there,

Sorry to see this is a thread from 6 months ago, and thank you everyone for continuing to share feedback around the issue.

I also wanted to ask the original poster whether you’ve previously tried submitting an appeal through EA Help regarding the account ban. If you believe the action on your account may have been applied incorrectly, we would strongly recommend doing so.

If needed, you can also submit your case through this webform and include as much detail as possible.

You should have read only the first result on any platform before trying to use LS on a multiplayer game... Even LS's developer warns people all the time that trying to use the program on a game with any Anticheat solution will result in a ban. I'm sorry but it's little higher than common sense, LS does essentially the same thing a potential hack does, injects it's own code into a running process.
