Recon Specialist 2 bug

Recon Specialist 2 challenge will not progress despite using a laser designator to mark vehicles and having them destroyed. I have had my friend on my squad destroy the tanks as well as just other players on my team. I have also tried using the tracking dart. Neither part of the challenge has progressed in the last 2 games I played. Any developers that read this want to chime in?
