Same "Players" and Bots No Matter What I Do

As the description says, no matter what I do, do a custom search, try escalation, conquest, RedSec, Gauntlet, ANYTHING, I play against BOTS and hackers.  I can't play in a normal lobby against normal players.  Has anyone had this issue?  I did live chat with EA and they said this is an isolated incident.  So does that mean, I just don't play the game anymore?  Or wait for a patch / update?
