This fixed my crashes, and it was my last resort after trying a ton of things. Haven't had any issues since, and this was ~4 months ago.
1. Identify Your Hardware
- Press Win + R, type msinfo32, and press Enter.
- Note your BaseBoard Product (motherboard model) and current BIOS Version.
2. Download the Update
- Go to the manufacturer’s official support site (ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, etc.).
- Search for your exact model and download the latest BIOS/Firmware file.
- Extract the .zip file once downloaded.
3. Prepare a USB Drive
- Format a USB drive to FAT32.
- Copy the extracted BIOS file (e.g., .CAP, .bin) directly onto the drive.
4. Flash the BIOS
- Restart your PC and tap Del or F2 to enter the BIOS menu.
- Find the update utility (e.g., EZ Flash, M-Flash, or Q-Flash).
- Select the file from your USB drive and start the update.
- Wait: The PC will reboot automatically when finished.
5. Reset & Configure for BF6
- Re-enter BIOS after the update and select Load Optimized Defaults, or similar.
- CRITICAL: Ensure Secure Boot is set to "Enabled" and TPM (or PTT/fTPM) is "On," as Battlefield 6 will crash on launch if these are disabled.
- Save and Exit.
