For me, I updated my BIOS earlier and had a USB drive connected to my PC. When I unplugged that, it worked.

If you have any “hot” drives connected, I’d recommend disconnecting them and restart the game. People on Reddit also mentioned double checking your anti-virus/VPN settings.

Oh my god you just saved me! Thank you! Same exact thing with me! I did a BIOS update but the usb stick still in a usb port and deconnecting it fixed the issue!
