On PS5. Haven’t been able to play since the 10th. Out of nowhere yesterday I was able to play for the first time since launch. Now today the error is back. Chat has not been able to help. I would rather not get rid of a 17 year old account because they can’t fix the problem on their end. They haven’t even acknowledge that it’s an account issue. This is extremely frustrating. I am level 12 on multiplayer with trophies and the last time I contacted chat they claim I don’t own the game.

EA are dug in hard to avoid addressing this issue. I’ve been hitting up their support teams near-daily, and through a bit of feigned ignorance you can catch them out a bit. It seems they’re aware of this issue and claim it’s a top priority to resolve. They’ve acknowledged there’s a sync issue between the EA App and their online account system.
But as soon as you try to drill in - they ice you.
Sounds like the front line staff are having a rough time dealing with all the reports, while the supervisors and executives calmly push the this off as long as possible (at this rate, it could be something they just don’t fix)
I recommend pursuing a refund and moving onto the next game, unfortunately :(
