Hey everyone,
I am from Netherlands and yesterday I bought Battlefield 6 through Steam and wasn't able to play properly. I keep getting this unknown error when launching the game. Sometimes I get the current queue displayed immediately followed by this error and then the only option I see is to close the game. I've never had an issue like this before and played Battlefront 2, for instance, seamlessly viaSteam.
One interesting observation I've made: when I unlinked my Steam account from the EA one, I was able to play the game once!... until I closed the game to apply some graphics tweaks. Now, however, I cannot do the same because of the limitations on how many times you can unlink accounts. So I am stuck.
I've tried almost every known solution:
- Changing DNS resolver
- Turning off any VPN
- Disconnecting USB devices
- Verifying file integrity though the Steam Library
So, as I said before, you can launch the game once by unlinking and linking back your Steam account; I wouldn't advise you to do so, nonetheless, since that will limit your ability to further unlink the account for the next 6 months.
If anyone got some ideas how to fix it, please help. Thanks!
P.S: Oh coool, now they don't let create more posts regarding this issue xD. They've just moved my post to this discussion
So Do I gotta go on my EA account and unlink from Steam and I won't get the error code?

As I wrote in the post, you will get the chance to do it once and play the game until the next launch. But remember, you won't be able to repeat this process the next 6 months

You can try to unlink and re link. For some it has worked. For others (myself included) it did nothing and now I am locked for 6 months.
