I have this error on PC Steam. Just finished a chat with an agent. He told me to 'Wait a reasonable time', and that this error was well known. I told him about this forum discussion, and that people were waiting for over 13 days by now and asked him what a reasonable time was. He said '1 or 2 days' then closed the chat.
What an absolute joke
I reopened the chat, Pawan2 helped me out. He 'reactivated' my account through a password reset, and while my EA and Steam account name were the same, i changed them both to something else, and it now works again.
Are you kidding me I reset my password and im in... I need to check in a couple days if that indefinitely fixed it but thanks for letting us know either way
