I purchased on steam and every time i launch the game tells me i need to enable steam overlay to play the game. ive made sure its enabled globally and specifically for the game and it still dosent work. Ive also disabled overlays for all the other programs that have them incase it was a conflicting issue. ive went through all the normal steps like verify, reinstall and restart the pc with no luck. A fix or solution would be greatly appreciated.
Did you have any luck? I went to post this issue and you had posted it an hour prior. I was hoping someone would've had some insight by now.
Figured it out! Even if steam overlay is enabled it does not enable it for battlefield 6. Go to your library right click bf6..click properties.. enable for bf6 specifically. Hope this helps!
I am also having this issue and I’ve done everything it’s told me. Do you think windows 10 would be my issue? I’m giving up at this point I’m all out of ideas
Any luck yet? I have overlay enabled in both game properties and steam settings. The game still gives me the error.
