Forum Discussion
ad3fhaw I am not a developer. I do not fix the game. I work on the forums. What is and is not resolved and what priority those take are not up to us here. Player feedback has been collected from different platforms and passed to the teams that review it. Once there is an update from those teams, we will update players and let them know.
EA_Shepard,
I understand that you're not a developer and that you don't personally fix the game. However, you are an official representative of EA and the primary point of contact for players on these forums.
What is also frustrating is that several of the concerns I raised were simply ignored. I mentioned that Strikepoint has had unresolved bugs since launch and has received very little support or meaningful updates compared to other modes, yet none of those points were addressed. Instead, the response focused solely on passing feedback to the team.
Right now, it feels like responsibility is being passed from one team to another while a game-breaking issue remains unresolved and the community is left without any meaningful communication. Strikepoint is effectively unplayable, yet after several days there is still no official acknowledgment, no confirmation that it's being investigated, and no indication of its priority.
Battlefield is a AAA title that many players paid a huge price for. It's reasonable to expect that a gamebreaking bug affecting an entire game mode is treated as a high-priority issue and that players receive timely, transparent communication about what is happening. Silence creates uncertainty and gives the impression that the mode and the players who enjoy it are not a priority (like we have felt since launch).
Players aren't asking for miracles. We're asking for transparency, acknowledgment and a sense that our feedback is actually being heard. Simply saying that feedback has been forwarded without addressing the broader concerns leaves the impression that nobody is willing to take ownership of the issue.
Many of us enjoy Strikepoint and want to see it succeed, but it's difficult to stay optimistic when longstanding bugs remain unfixed and a gamebreaking issue is met with days of silence. Can you at least commit to providing updates as you receive them and explain where players should expect official communication to be posted?
