Suddenly since yesterday, Battlefield 6 won't connect on the login screen.

I've even tried unlinking and relinking my EA account to my Steam account. Battlefield V works fine.

Same issue today.

Day 3... any help? EA Advisor? I tried the chat bot that never leads to a real person... No other way to start a ticket?

Man, I'm having the exact same issue. After the previous update I simply cannot connect to the online servers and nobody in here seems to have a **bleep** answer. What the f*** is the point of these EA community managers if they aren't here to help with really fundamental game errors or can't at least get me in touch with a human who might be able to look deeper at any account issues that I cannot see? I did notice a link one of them provided on a different thread, it was a form of support contact form - hidden of course, but as expected, putting in the game details, selecting the issue, submitting the form only sends you back to the support topics. It doesn't raise a case or send any confirmation it's been sent to anyone

I've followed all of the connections troubleshooting suggestions on the EA "support" page and nothing works. Their so-called support team is just a circular AI that keeps referring me back to the same articles no matter what I enter. This is a joke and it feels like legal action is needed because why can't a human be contacted if following the advise yields nothing?

I just got back from a 2 week trip, hoping this was a bug that would fix itself with season 3. Nope, updated through Steam, loaded the game, Pressed Start, game won't connect no matter how many times I tried. Even using a hotspot from my 4G phone, it can't connect so it's definitely not an ISP, DNS issue.

Battlefield 1 which runs via the EA App connects without an issue, Battlefield 6 which runs via Steam has stopped working.

I've tried everything to get the game to login, it won't.

The ideal situation would be to somehow reset the install so that I can go through the EA login which I believe the game first presented after install. I don't know how to get this to happen. Uninstalling the game doesn't trigger this.

My EA account as far as I can see is clean, never been banned, or locked out, Steam is linked and like you I did try unlinking it and the relinking to see if that fixes it, that doesn't.

What it sounds like we both need us someone to actually deal with this case directly because not being able to connect is a fundamental issue that needs a human hand to be involved.

After May 8 update, Steam purchased game refuses to connect with EA App after extensive troubleshooting.

My understanding is an update with the core of how this game connects to the EA App was changed, now some of us are having issues. It refuses to show up in the EA App library after, unplugging USB devices, changing to Google DNS and back to automatic, resetting router twice while on a wired ethernet connection, restarting PC, uninstalling and reinstalling BF6, uninstalling EA App and deleting the remaining files from Program Files to then reinstall EA App, EA App Recovery to clear cache, and multiple PC restarts.

EA and DICE need to see this so they can fix it. At this point I'm just fighting a losing battle for an update that broke things I can't fix.

Okay, just reading some of what you said I believe I found the issue in my case and hopefully it's the same for you.

Unplugging USB devices

So I unplugged all USB devices (only a mouse) AND I had a Micro SD Card inserted as well, so took this out. As if by magic the game now starts, connects, loads shaders, then loads in.

To confirm I added things back in one by one to find the culprit. Mouse = no issues, SD card, game won't connect, remove SD card, game will connect. FFS.

I don't know why, the SD card is just got images and videos on it from my DJI handheld, but that is what the game is somehow detecting and preventing it connecting. Maybe this has something to do with the Anticheat which maybe causes an issue due to how some cheat software might use USB or SD card slots and EA have just blanket blocked connections if these are in use. Dumb, but that seems to be what's happening.

Overall, hopefully this can lead you in the right direction. If you have a full PC, might be worth seeing if you have anything connected internally that uses USB ports or externally an SD card reader.

The steam version of BF6 does not use the EA App any more so you can ignore anthing to do with the EA App.

I've been having issues connecting to the Servers this morning but that is because they seem very busy/full.

The connection issue we both experienced is related to when you press START after the intro video. This is when the game logs you into EA which has been failing. This isn't an issue with accessing a game server.

I’m having the same issue I’ve done everything it’s actually just randomly started working then dropped out again just give it abit of time before you press start
