Support for BF6 Progress gone

Today I tried getting back into battlefield 6 on PC/Steam and there was initially an error about steam overlay, got that sorted. Then it wanted me to link my steam account, did that but when I start the game now my 55 hours of progress are gone. Tried the AI chatbot but all it did what make me repeat myself over and over getting no where whatsoever and leaving me frustrated. Looking to get help from an actual human being please, thank you.
