Game is just too broken.

Did you do any testing at all on the new update? If you're going to just drop untested code on the public - we should actually be paid for reporting bugs. I wouldn't be surprised if it's illegal to ask people to do work for free - well, actually, I know it's illegal in my country. You have to pay people to do work for you when you're operating a business. We aren't your mates, willing to come around on the weekend to help you out. Digital companies really have tricked us into thinking that this is normal.

Anyway, Another game breaking bug, along with the rest. 500 ping, 90% packet loss when loading into quads. Leads to missing geometry and unplayable game.

    And what's this? But hey, you're rendering those orange dots, we can't even get rid of them when the game bugs out.

    And you know, player cards aren't rendering beneath the models, and sometimes it shows the same player twice. lol - this game is a big costly joke.

    Happened again in Quads, I made it half way before it bugged out and packet loss hit 90%.

    NOTE: The matchmaking system will sometimes place you on a server outside of your region. That's why your ping / latency is really high, and the textures, models, and map primitives never finished loading.

    (1.) Use PowerShell to Install the XAudio2 Redistributable and the DirectX 12 Agility SDK, though you will have to update this on your own periodically (2.) Recompile / Reset the Shader Cache

    Open the Command Prompt:
    
    Windows 11: Start Menu -> Right-Click -> Run -> taskmgr -> Click OK. -> Run new task ( Top-Right Corner Of Task Manager ) -> %SystemRoot%\System32\cmd.exe -> Enable Checkbox: "Create this task with administrative privileges." -> Click OK.
    Windows 10: Start Menu -> Right-Click -> Run -> taskmgr -> Click OK. -> File -> Run new task -> %SystemRoot%\System32\cmd.exe -> Enable Checkbox: "Create this task with administrative privileges." -> Click OK.
    
    Run the Scripts Below From an Elevated Command Prompt in the Following Order:

    KittenRebellion​ Thanks for the config info.

    In this case I was playing with someone from another city in my country who I play with all the time. It was just me suffering the lost packets and lag.

    I just tried playing again - black screen, high packet loss. I've run a speed test and I'm getting good ping (8ms) and 750mb/s connection.

    I just experienced the same thing in Gauntlet. Haven't experienced it in Conquest yet. My connection is still fine...

    I just had a round of quads - same thing - but my team-mates say I'm running around normally, but for me, the game is completely out of sync. 90% packet loss. I repaired the install before this.

    What may have solved the lost packets issue is resetting my router. But even after that I've experienced choppy audio in-game. Voice is good in Discord though.

    Update: No, it's not the router, of course it's not the router, because I already knew that my internet was working fine. Everything is working except for Battlefield. And I just had the issue again - a new round was loading and my PL hit 90% and ping 300.

    Upload speed determines latency ( ping. ) You were also probably on a server based in Taiwan ( Republic of China. ) I have played on those servers myself, and I'm aware that you can encounter a bad route / hop, along the way, though in many respects I rarely had problems. Your connection to the game server is limited to the fastest speed the server itself supports, through auto negotiation. It doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. That server might be fast, but there could be high packet loss associated with having to traverse multiple layers of content delivery networks and service providers. Once again, it was probably outside of the region you live in. Sometimes it is also associated with really high server load, though not always, as it was in the Open Beta ( unprecedented demand, with the introduction of the free game modes, such as RedSec. ) If you play at certain times, you might end up on a North American server, or one based in Latin America, specifically when demand is higher ( when the weekly challenges reset, server load is often much higher, not just in the afternoons / evenings, and on weekends, based on the time zone at least. )
