The gamepad is not being recognized as a user on the PC.”

Keyboard + mouse users are shown with a monitor icon, console users with a gamepad icon, and PC players using a gamepad have an icon with a monitor and a gamepad underneath. However, even though I’m using a gamepad, I’m still being recognized as a keyboard + mouse user. Is there any way to fix this?
