"Time Nudge" is making the game unplayable (PC Help needed)

Is anyone else having issues with "Time Nudge (TN)"? It's causing constant variable lag of up to 1500ms in my matches especially when I'm around enemies. This is not to be confused with network latency, of which that is usually at a solid 10-15ms.

My specs are RTX 3080, AMD 5900x, DDR4 32GB RAM @ 3200MT/s. I use an ethernet cable and have rock solid gigabit internet

Currently I have to run the game at all low settings and run at 1440p in addition to DLSS set to balanced just to reduce TN to reasonable levels. Usually, I can run games at 4K high graphics at around 60 FPS so I'm really at a loss here. I've read some forums saying RAM clock speeds or weak CPUs can be an issue but my clock speeds are fine (I use XMP as well) and my CPU is definitely not weak nor has either been an issue with any other game before besides some natural bottlenecking. I play VR games like iRacing and DCS, which are way more CPU demanding, and have no issues running them. Any help would be massively appreciated; I just want to play the game reasonably well.

  • I found the official servers run at 60hz and community servers run at 30hz, if your cpu cant sync to a 60hz server then you will see slow down, i personally think it was a mistake for EA to have 60hz servers because a lot of people have cpu's before 60hz cpu's where a thing, they need a 30hz official option for people with older rigs, even my Rog ally x has problems with this game and its from 2023, this week im stuck on community servers until there is a fix for the servers because i cant seem to join anything at the moment without problems.

Client Frame Time (CFT) should never go over 15

SIM needs to be always 60

    Video memory is not enough

    Try

    • enabling AMD FSR so the game upscales from a lower resolution, this could improve everything a bit
    • Lowering your Resolution from 1920x1200 / 1920x1080 to 1280x720

    Come back with your findings.

It is snappy at 480p 30fps, unfortunately that is like 3 pixels. At 720p 30fps its playable, but a bit sluggish not icy and as bad as 1080p but it still feels slightly slower, using DLSS ultra performance on 720p changes nothing, from my testing. I guess I'll just have to come to terms with the fact my laptop isn't good enough, despite being plenty good enough for the graphics it just cannot do the simulation.

Can u give us some screenshots of CPU-Z?

We need to see if you maybe have only 1x 16 GB RAM Module.

For reference "similar" notebook with 1080p on low.

Your notebook is not the best but it should at least give you 1080p on low.
