Unplayable FPS Lag Spike

Can anyone please help diagnose this? Specs below. All settings low, tried vsync on and off. Only playable at capped 30 FPS. All temps good. Also, when I take out a RAM stick to see if one is faulty, I just get MAX ping and it is extremely high TN but no stuttering like this.

GPU: Brand new Radeon 9060 XT

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900X

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x 16 GB RAM 3600 MHz (XMP)

PSU: Power spec PS 650BF 650W

MOBO: Asus A520M S2W (Only two RAM slots)

Wired Internet connection at 300-400 MBPS

I have a buddy that has a near identical rig to mine and has ZERO issues playing the game. Only difference my MOBO is Micro-ATX

I have tried the User.cfg file method to no avail.

I had my RAM downclocked to 3200 MHz but reverted back to the standard XMP 3600 MHz with no difference.

I initially thought this issue was a lack of VRAM in my 2060 6GB so I bought a Radeon 9060 XT 16GB but unfortunately not the culprit.

Please help I cannot stand playing the game at 30 FPS

  • I’m having almost an identical issue to you except I don’t have issues until 2-3 games in and everything dips. FPS goes from 120 to 40 after the next match loads.

sadly we’ll probably have to wait for a patch
