Update to Ongoing Crashing Issue
Here is the link to my earlier post:
BF6 Crashing My PC | EA Forums - 12890061
Just to state my hardware again: Ryzen 5900X, Strix 3080Ti, ROG Dark Hero, 32GB Crucial Ballistix 3600, Gallahad 240 AIO, (2) WD_Black SN750 m.2 drives, EVGA Supernova 850W, (8) Unifans
So, I am starting at an absolute clean slate. I did a full clean install and upgrade to Windows11. The only things I have downloaded are all the Windows11 updates that were needed, downloaded and updated GPU/CPU/MOBO drivers, then downloaded Steam and installed Battlefield6. Steam was notifying me that the Cloud Save was Out of Sync so I shut off Steam Cloud and BF6 Cloud save from the settings. During boot, got an error window: "Checking date - WARNING: Your save file(s) are corrupt and could not be read by the game. Continuing will overwrite the corrupt save file." I pressed the OK button, it came back, OK again, boot up continued but during the opening credits things started getting very choppy and then my whole GPU failed.
Question: Is this game file related? If so, is there a go to/guarenteed fix for this so that I can play the game without crashing my PC? Lastly, if not file/game/Steam related, does this seem like hardware related issues? If so, what do you think is the likely component that needs to be replaced?
Thank you for any help
