People are investigated upon reports by other players, the more reports a player gets the higher he'll be on the list. The DICE Anti-Cheat Team is collecting thousands of reports on a daily basis. Your case looks a lot like you boosted to me and all the other people I asked today, all of them are either in community staff positions or are Battlefield Veterans.(Just going by statistics) Even if you paid for your game and your server, you agreed to EA rules by ticking the box, every game or sports has it's own rules and the players have to stick to them.
EA is a company that gives other companies money to produce games(Publisher), of course they are all about money, the more money games generate - the more can EA give back to the gaming industry. Besides that have you ever noticed how much EA gives to the Community? All the community managers are here because they DO care about us, EA rented a lot of space at the Gamescom 2012 that was exclusively for invited Community members. We had the chance to hang out all day with guys like Gustav Halling(Lead Designer@Battlefield 3), they weren't just there because it's their job, you noticed very quickly that the DICE guys truly love videogames.
