Battlefield 1 & V bug freezes my PC - hard reset needed - faulty anti cheat

UPDATE: I managed to get a normal crash rather than a full system freeze. Go on registry editor, at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers and make sure TdrLevel registry...

My BFV never actually crashes but ever since the Anti-Cheat update late last year I have been getting big freezes throughout my games. Every few minutes and they last anywhere from 2 to 10 seconds. Exactly as described in this post and exactly like the video in the Reddit link in the post: [FIX RELEASED] BFV PC - Issues After EA anticheat Update of April 3, 2024 | EA Forums - 6802874

I had hundreds of hours of perfectly smooth flawless gameplay before that update sometime around November but it's been happening ever since with no changes to my PC.
