Battlefield 1 Disconnects From Internet

I just got a new 1440p monitor and wanted to see what battlefield looks like. Now whenever I try to boot into Battlefield 1 it kicks me off of my internet. I'll load into BF1 and get into a server; then, after playing for a minute or two I will completely lose access to my wireless internet connection. It's so bad that when when trying to view wireless LAN in my network connections in control panel, the wireless option has completely disappeared. I've tried every common solution online and have gotten nowhere. The only thing I can think of is that changing the game resolution has somehow caused this to happen. Has anyone solved this issue?

Yeah, BF1 is the only EA Game I've tried. I'll have to try BF6 as I have that downloaded too. The fact that it's happening with multiple games for you is helpful though. Narrows it down to a problem with EA in general, I might try reinstalling the launcher too.

  • Having same issue on BF1, first time it bricked my router, second time just my PC Wifi.

Interestingly I did change my resolution also as I moved from TV to PC. I'll try switch back to TV resolution and see if that fixes it.....

Seemed to be a temporary fix and I have to redo it each time I restart my pc

Thank you so much for showing me that, been wanting to play BF1 for a while & this finally worked. Which part of the process do you have to repeat when you restart your PC?

  • Someone is attacking the Battlefield 1 servers, or maybe it's just broken on his own, obviously EA or DICE have no intention of fixing it
