Yes I feel the same. All I have done is talk to EA support over and over. They have no Idea what they are doing! What ever it is, Its nothing close to support.
By the way, I want to add, there has never been a problem downloading my expansion packs that only come with BF3 Premium.
I want to conclude after many attempts for 3 years, finally, I was switched over to a tech that had access to my account. He changed something on EA's end.
This is what happened:
1. He switched My battlefield 3 premium license to Battlefield 3 Standard.
2. That fixed the download issue. Now I can download in English.
3. Now I can not connect to any BF3 Server on any of my computers. Error " Game could not login to EA online". This Killed my laptop install that was working fine.
4. They said they can fix it in a few hours. Its now over a week later and I have contacted them 4 or 5 times.
5. First they switch me over to a technical team that can help me further. Then they conclude we will send this to another support team and hopefully they will fix it. They say many people have the same issue. WTF??
6. In the mean while, they ask me to go to the forums and create a post or add to a post with the same issue and hopefully EA will address it. ( Technically asking me to work for EA free finding a solution to their problem while paying them). Are you kidding me?
7. While waiting a week I went ahead and re-purchased BF3 Premium to see if I this would fix the connection issue. Nope. Just a new modified Error message. Flat out, "Could not join server". On any computer.
It obvious its on their end. I have been through all the topics on this for 3 years. I am an expert on troubleshooting BF3 with all the troubleshooting procedures. etc...
I agree with you. They robbed us. Its beyond pathetic and very sad. Not buying BF6. Like you, I will go to Steam only. We should file a class action.
