Battlefield I problem with connecting to multiplayer services (bought on Steam)

did you return the game to ea and buy it on Steam like I did? cus i have the same issue, and it started at the moment they pulled the game from my EA account page. Of course, I have to wait 14 days for a refund, and I feel like im being punished cus i can't play anything besides hosting my own games with bots. Nothing about matchmaking works at all. just wondering if they suck that bad
