BF1 Not Launching After 3GB update on 2018/03/27

Hello

My BF1 isn't launching after Origin downloaded a 3GB patch a few hours ago. I've checked a few online resources, reinstalling Windows 10 is out of the question for me, as in reinstalling BF1 since it will take several days of continous download to download it again on a 4MB line.

I tried clicking on "Update Game" and it downloads an additional 250MB, installs it, and then it still fails to launch. I tried clicking on it again, and it does the same thing, downloading 225.7MB and still failing to launch. I have rebooted several times, and I've also tried running Origin.EXE as admin.

I was playing BF1 fine last night and in the early hours of this morning (I'm in the GMT+2 time zone.)

PC specs:
Windows 10 version 10.0.16299.309
i7-6700
16GB of RAM
AMD RX470

I'm running it in DX11 mode. I've attached a DXDiag file.

Thank you
GDI Lord

Edit 1: Fixed typo in the heading and provided additional information about renaming the "Battlefield 1" directory.

Edit 2: I just tried the "Repair Game" option, same 225.7MB download size, same result. Origin also wants to update. This is the second time in an hour that the Origin client is saying that I must restart it to update. Is there perhaps a problem with the Origin client and not, in fact, with BF1?
