BF1 Rental server status changed to "pending" ( = offline )
Our second server just vanished from the server browser despite that we payed for 180 days on 21/12/2024. When I investigated with my account I noticed that the server status changed to "pending". Here I found a very old ticket that also describes this problem:

The suggested solution is no longer working. I can reconfigure the server, update it but it doesn't change the status at all.
I contacted EA support and these are the answers I was given. And no, I am not joking, these were the actual suggested solutions by the EA representative:
- Reboot your router
- Shut down your game and start it again
- Log out the EA app and login again
- Use an ethernet-cable
- Shut down programs in the background
- Check for issues with your internet service provider
- Reboot your PC
- Jus wait, sometimes it will just fix itself, how long can depend on the situation
When I explained to the tech support that you can't magically bring back a server online in Germany if one gamer reboots their PC. Their suggestion was to resubmit this bug on this forum because it was the only way to get the issue fixed.
Oh yeah, most important thing he had to say in the end. "We understand your frustration and thank you for being part of the EA community. Anything else I can help with?"
The server is back online. Looks like the representative was right when he said "Jus wait, sometimes it will just fix itself, how long can depend on the situation". 😀
Thx for the support guys. But this topic can now be closed. Although I do hope one of the community managers submits the bug for investigation.
