Update:
Checking the game files integrity, before starting the game, every single time you want to play, seems like to be a temporary working "solution". (The error will return if you close the game and try to start it again without checking the game files).
I've contacted EA support, they reported the issue, we can only wait for a fix.
Meanwhile:
- upvote this post or similar posts in the EA forum that complain about this issue, for making it more relevant.
- contact EA support, open a case, and chat with an agent to report this issue.

Yeah same for me, repairing it only worked once then whenever i closed the game the issue returned as well.

Yeah I did that already.
I verified the files again and then made them read only to see if that would change anything but it doesn't. Doing it directly though the anti-cheat is a lot quicker than verifying the files through Steam.
