10 years agoBF4 odd Cpu/Gpu problem?
Problem as follows: I have been playing Battlefield 4 and Hardline this past weekend for manu hours on ultra settings with no issues. All of a sudden on Monday evening both games started running at 1-10 fps. I have tried many options i found around the net such as
-Disabled Origin in game
-Restarted comp
-Reset all settings in Nvidia and Intel.
-Freshly reinstalled both graphics drivers.
-Disabled Intel HD 4600 all together
-Repaired both games
-Deleted Origin and Battlefield completely and reinstalled
-Ran compatability troubleshooter
-Deleted settings files in documents so the game would create fresh ones.
System Specs:
Alienware 17R2
Intel HD 4600
Nvidia GTX 970m
Intel Core I7-4720HQ
8GB RAM
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
P.S: I forgot to mention i am able to run other graphically demanding games on ultra no problem. ex Rainbow Six Siege/Ark Survival Evolve. Thanks again!
