I recommend you to keep trying. The solution is to not die in the mission, if you die, just restart the mission (select restart mission). By doing so I think you'll get the trophie.

Yes, you can't die in the whole mission.

If you die; you gotta restart the whole mission and NOT DIE at all so you can get the achievement.

The tutorial you showed to me is not very specific and only tells you not to die by the jet, but that is not necessarily true.

You just can't die at all. And if you do, don't Load last checkpoint, instead Restart the mission.

As the tutorial says; is recommended to play the mission on easy mode.

So if it didn't work maybe you should try the following:

1.- The difficulty does not matter.

2.- Watch the objectives section (// INCOMING PRIORITY TRANSMISSION), and wait for it to say: "DEFEAT RUSSIAN FAST AIR".

3.- Shoot it down and then you should get the achievement.

4.- Do not shoot the airplane before that message appears.

5.- Do not die in the whole mission. (Just to make sure).

The best way is to take things slow. Look out explosions and be in cover often. Its possible to do, wish you best of luck!
