Can't Connect to EA servers (Windows 10 Home custom built PC)

I recently bought Battlefield 1 through a cheap Steam bundle, and I can open it through Origin. However, whenever I open the game it automatically puts me into the first Campaign mission, and then when I go to the menu to see if I can play online it says "Can't connect to EA servers".

I have tried:

- Flush DNS

- Reset Network Adapter
- Verified Integrity of Game Files through Steam

- Reinstalled the game
- Made exceptions in Windows Firewall and turned off my VPN
and much more that has previously been suggested on this forum, I've read through all of these and none of the solutions have worked for me
(the only one I haven't tried is the ports thing, I doubt my provider will do anything anyway, and in my opinion it's pretty * I have to do that just to be able to play this 1, single game)

If I can't ever get this to work I'll try getting my money back, because honestly, EA, players shouldn't have to go through all this weeks on end just to be able to play multiplayer. This is 2021, guys.
