Digital Download BF3 Armored Kill

I am already a Premium member for Battlefield 3, I purchased a seperate download of the Armored Kill expansion thinking I could give the Key to a friend so that he could download and play Armored Kill with me, I wasn't provided with a key for the extra expansion so I allowed him to use my card to purchase the expansion from his computer. Would the "Unused / Extra" copy I recieved through e-mail be refundable?
