Failed to connect to EA online

Earlier today I had an issue with linking my Xbox Live account to EA for battlelog. After getting everything settled and linked, whenever I go to play Battlefield 1 I will get to the menu and it will tell me that I have "FAILED TO CONNECT TO EA ONLINE Online feature will be unavailable. Please try again. See http://help.ea.com/article/not-able-to-connect-to-online-play for additional information." I have tried to reconnect, I have also gone to this link and all it is is just server status links for Xbox and Playstation. Can someone please help me on this I do not want to be out on the Battlefield 1 Multiplayer experience.

 Do you run a VPN service on our pc it you do turn it off. Press CTR ALT DEL and look at you Processors. I run a VPN and I thought I had switched it off. I stopped the VPN Processor and yes that allowed to to connect to internet within game. If no VPN check your processes to see which can be switched off.

Just go to CTR ALT DEL and look at you Processors stop 1 by 1 to see if you get online within game. It worked for me.

same here. still cant connect, i have had the game for 3 days and have only played the campaign.....

I've had the same problem now since buying and installing BF1 on 24th October.

"You have lost connection to the EA Servers"

"Online features will be unavailable. Please try again"

I've followed all the recommended steps provided by EA, including firewalls, anti-virus, UOTrace Test etc...No issues found. 

This desktop PC and internet connection have previously worked very well with BF4 (tested BF4 today and it still works!)

I bought battle fied v. I can play single play only.i cant update the game. I cant connect to ea online.but I have ea account. I have orgin.how to fix it
