I was able to play Battlefield 1 until today. Today while trying to login via Geforce Now the error "Unable to run in virtual machine. Please exit the VM and try again (142)" occured. I have never had that problem before and I use GFN regularly. Same thing happens for Battlefield 5 too. This is outrageous and dissapointing to see since GFN and EA have their agreement so nothing illegal is happening. Is there any way to fix this?
Nope. EA doing their typical trash thing and stomping down on end users for no reason. No VM's work for seeding servers in BF1 now too. I'm not buying the new BF1. I'm not buying another EA product ever again. Good riddence to this company.
Thanks EA for your anticheat, the cheaters are back in full force actively hacking already, but you've completely screwed the userbase and are actively working on screwing them further by blocking every method they have of getting thier servers running - methods which brought you money because we purchased more accounts to do so.
Reddit is thoroughly filled with significant hatred and boycotting against EA, and I'd easily define them as the most hated company by gamers. Nearly a decade of outright ignoring everything the player base wants, I hope BF is shut down and alternative titles take over with real products and none of the nonsense.
