has the visual of Escalation skin changed?

The reward for this Phase is the An Escalation skin for both variants of the M1917 MG weapon, with the familiar skull engraved on it.
The numbers 0627 can be seen engraved on the ammo box of the weapon along with a series of morse code beneath them which translates to Unknowable.

After the BFEE Community discovered how to get the Escalation skin, did Dice change the visual of the skin?

"An Escalation" - we received lots of community feedback that, while beautiful, from first person view it looked just like "The Sammie" skin and the player couldn't see the skulls. We listened and with the upcoming BF1 June patch you'll have a skull to enjoy in first person too
