i need help installing my battlefield 3
when i got go intall battlefield 3 it says "Error: redistributable package (DirectX) was not installed successfully. setup cannot continue.(false) ive tried reinstaling directX but it wont work

I am sorry but what do you mean with " i try to put it in the correct file"?
If you download dxwebsetup from the microsoft site you will have a program
in your download folder. When you start the dxwebsetup DX will be installed on windows
and is not linked to the folder you mentioned. This folder is also not the installation
folder for Directx.
In that folder by the way is the DX version that came with the game. To use that onestart DXSETUP.exe.
I normally prefer to download the latest version is it is better and it avoids the message
that you allready have the same version installed which prevents you from installing it
again for repair.
