Infinite Redirect Loop When Trying to Update Playtesting Preferences

Hello,

I'm experiencing a redirection issue on the EA Playtesting Portal.

When I log in at https://ea.arcsivr.com/Portal/home and click the “Update your Playtesting Preferences!” link (highlighted in blue under "News & Updates"), I get redirected to https://www.ea.com/playtesting?isLocalized=true However, after landing there, I get redirected back again to the portal, creating a loop that makes it impossible to access or update my preferences.

I've tried using different browsers (Chrome and Firefox), and testing in incognito mode, but the issue persists.

Could you please help me resolve this or let me know if there's an alternative way to update my preferences?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,
Joe

  • This has been reported previously, and it seems to just be a bad link. The info was passed on at the time, but presumably it hasn't been corrected quite yet.

If you have signed in, you might be able to select your name in the top-right and select "My Profile". That will take you to the area where you can update your preferences. However, if you're not able to select your name, you may need to sign in on the general Playtesting site first (EA Playtesting - Official EA Site) and then use the drop-down menu.

  • I'm having the exact same issue. Infinite loop making it impossible to sign up or change preferences....

Maybe we should wait for an admin to see the post. What worries me is not knowing if it affects the possibility of trying the new battlefield. Honestly, I want to try it, I'm very interested, but oh well, let's wait :/
