Need help reinstalling punkbuster. PBSETUP.EXE not working.

so pbsetup isn't working. I probalby got hacked again lol.

I was getting chatlag. cpu spikes every second or so. So i was like, hmm, well let me update punkbuster. SO it said it was going to update it with pbsetup, but then I got an error. Similar to this error i've seen on web

. Error #0119: ERROR Could not copy C:\User\BREJNH~1\AppData\Local\Temp\pbsBEB4.tmp to C\Program Files (86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3\pb\pbcl.dll during HTM conversion.

So i followed the instructions here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-84e5YpnTI then i no longer got the error, and pbsetup says its sucsessfuly updated bf3. But nothing actually happens...haha I can't believe this.... I've never had this problem before. Lets just chalk up to coincidence again and not corruption. So anyways..... any ideas on how to fix this issue?

I have some and here is what I need to know, . I'm going here to try and manually put the folders and files where they need to be. http://www.punkbuster.com/index.php?page=dl-bf3.php 1. What is the name of the pb folder in the BF3. Is it just called pb? ty. 2. is there other folders in there besides htm? tks.

    I clicked on PBSVC.exe in the BF3 install folder.  Don't know why i didn't do that first.  I always use pbsetup with no problems...oh well   I selected install/reinstall PB.    I also had to allow everything in my firewall again.....bizarre...   and I think its working again now sorry about that.

    EDIT:  I should add i also installed nvidia geforce experience and updated my driver with it and optimzed the game.  Played a match now it ran and looked great.  Then again,  it wasn't as chatty as the server last night.

    Also fixed this weird bc2 black screen flicker for me.  It was like if I went on a server with one of those married couples hogging chopper,,  if I hopped in it  my screen would start flickering.  I'm not talking about texture flickering, I'm talking my like my whole minotir flashing black.     One time it happened when I hopped in tank.   totally bizarre and never happened to me in the past.  Its like someone hitting a button.  I can't figure it out I thought maybe I had to make sure I could alt tab or keep a window open, because changing settings did nothing.....I also had a diff vid card back then...  ....anyways,  everything is working great now.
